Each semester, we have bi-weekly meetings that focus on all kinds of topics. Our speaker meetings are typically led by industry professionals from a variety of backgrounds, based on who our members want to hear from.

Professional Opportunities

TxTPED participates in many professional opportunities to connect our members to the Themed Entertainment industry! We go on a professional tour every semester and attend conferences such as IAAPA and ATSM.

Our most recent tour was at The Dinosaur Company in Allen, Texas!

As a student organization, we hope to do more than just serve as a form of education for our members. One of our goals is to create an accepting atmosphere that all of our members feel welcome to and build lifelong connections. In order to accomplish this we host bi-weekly socials as well as an end-of-semester holiday party or banquet!

Outreach

​A goal for our organization is to find students from all majors that want to get involved with the themed entertainment industry. We want to help aspiring engineers and fabricators discover new career paths that they've never explored.

TxTPED can frequently be found at a table on UT's Speedway, presenting what we do and inviting prospective members to join, as well as at showcase events around UT.
